During our stay at the beautiful DZ in Empuriabrava, we also conducted a USPA/UPT Tandem Master Course. The course took three days and included all the necessary 10 jumps for the candidates to continue jumping with real passengers in a safe way. We successfully completed all the evaluation and congratulate the following skydivers for their newly gained USPA Tandem Instructor Rating:
– Pavel Blizniuk (Belarus)
– Olga Naumova (Belarus)
– Serhei Yaromich (Belarus)
Well done guys! We thank you for your visit to Spain and wish you good work with your new rating. Have a good trip back home to Belarus!

We are pleased by the great interest for the USPA Coach Rating and were happy to welcome nine candidates during our last course in Empuriabrava (02.-04.04.11). The course took place under perfect weather conditions and were able to evaluate all candidates on time thanks to their great preparation and previous experience as well. We congratulate the following new USPA Coaches and wish them good luck with their new rating:
We are pleased to announce a new collaboration between our school and Greek Freefall Club which is located in Athens, Greece. This recently opened Dropzone is the first professional skydiving service with a turbine aircraft in the Greek skydiving scene. Instructors Academy will be supporting the DZ and its management in order to strive forward and to grow. We will also run various rating courses throughout the year there. We are looking forward to our new partnership and a successful cooperation in future projects. Take a virtual tour:

During our last days at sunny Skydive Spain, Sevilla we were pleased by the visit of two ongoing AFF Instructor candidates who took advantage of our AFF pre-course as proper preparation to their actual AFF Instructor Rating Course in a few weeks time. René Klensch from Luxembourg (left) and Nick Chaperon from Cyprus (middle) are already experienced skydivers and Coaches. With the three days preparation course both were still amazed on how much they learned and how much new information they received. Both left happy and satisfied and eager to continue with the “real deal” on AFF IRC soon. We will keep you updated on their performance later on in April. We say thank you for the visit to Spain and good luck on your upcoming AFF IRC.
Our stay at Skydive Spain is not yet over and we are enjoying every day with perfect weather conditions (sunny and warm 20°C) and great atmosphere. Besides that, we also work hard during the days and relax with a cold beer in the evenings. We have at least alot to celebrate! Today we congratulate our Spanish friend and Skydive Spain Staff member Jacobo Mendaro for gaining his USPA AFF Instructor Rating. Jacobo started the instructor course a few months ago and today is his turn to celebrate his achievement. Very well done and big applause only for you!! We wish you good luck with your upcoming student work and always safe jumps!!
In a world of AFF skydiving, the Static line or IAD training method has gone quiet on many DZs. Nevertheless, there are still some clubs and small DZs training their students this way and we are pleased to assist on any instructor training. Having said that, we were happy to do so and to convert the Static Line Instructor Rating of Francisco Gaitan from the Spanish (FAE) to the USPA System giving him more opportunity to train his students worldwide. Francisco has already done his Tandem Instructor Rating with our school in the past and it was really nice to see him back at Skydive Spain and to be – again – a part of his skydiving success. Congratulations to you and all the best with your Rating!
Another celebration deserves broadcasting! We would like to congratulate Frank Adams from Germany for successfully completing his USPA Coach Rating Course in sunny Skydive Spain, Sevilla during march 15-17, 2011. Both thumbs up and big applause to you for a good job and for crossing the milestone of 100 jumps! Its been exactly one year since you first started to skydive!!
During our stay at Skydive Spain, we were also able to run a USPA/UPT Tandem Master Course during March 11-14, 2011. We are happy to anounce that all four participants have successfully completed the course. Congratulations to an awesome performance and big applause to:
