Just as last year, we were again invited to visit the beautiful DZ Skydive Fano in Italy in order to conduct a USPA Coach Rating and AFF Instructor Rating Course. All seven candidates were well prepared and we were able to finish the course successfully after three days. Our big applause and congratulations go out to the new USPA Coaches from Italy:
– Andrea Cardinali
– Enrico Scalini
– Francesco Ferrandino
– Lisa Bergamini
– Pierangelo Cangi
– Salvatore Floridia
– Teodor Ionescu
We thank USPA Evaluator Sebastiano Giubilo for a great assistance on the course and we thank the management and team of Skydive Fano for the organisation and as always excellent hospitality!
Our very own school director and founder of Instructors Academy Marcus Laser has been profiled in this month edition of the PARACHUTIST. It a nice and honest article. Check it out:
A warm welcome to another AFF student: Gary Johnson from UK travelled to Spain in order to participate in our AFF beginner camp at Skydive Lillo. He prepared himself with some windtunnel time and he did an excellent job on the first Levels 1-6 before returning back home. We can’t wait to see him back for his Level 7-8 and his consolidation jumps! Very Good Job, mate!
We welcome Shane Burkholder from USA for his AFF Course with us at the DZ of Skydive Lillo, Spain. He completed his ground school and level 1 before returning back to work. We are looking forward to see him soon for his remaining Level 2-7! Congrats to your first jump and fingers crossed for your further course.
We are delighted to welcome back Holger Waldhausen from Germany for FS Coaching with Coach Julian. Congratulation on your great improving on FS skills and we hope that you have enjoyed your trip to Spain once more. Looking forward to see you again!
We are happy to congratulate the new USPA Coaches Martin Pinto (Spain) and Brian McGee (USA; not in picture) for their great performance during the Coach Rating Course and the evaluation jumps. Congrats and good luck with your upcoming work jumps as Coaches!
We had a blast during our two week stay at the beautiful DZ of GFFC (Greek Freefall Club) near Athens, Greece. Not only were we greeted by very nice people and outstanding hospitality, but we also took part in an original Easter lamb grilling which was organized by the DZ and a catering service. While skydiving we also enjoyed typical Greek food and Easter celebration. Not bad at all! We thank GFFC and its members for such a great experience. We shall be back soon!
Talking about celebrations: school director Marcus Laser just passed his jump number 11.000 over Empuriabrava while evaluating Mara Springer on her AFF-I skills. Not sure if it should have been a fun jump rather than a work jump?? Congratulations, chief and many more !!
We are happy to congratulate Julian, our Customer Service Assistant,
The last course conducted by our school at Skydive Empuriabrava was the USPA AFF Instructor Course which takes about 6-7 days depending on the number of candidates. We evaluated four candidates and are happy to announce that two of them gained their USPA AFF rating. We congratulate Mara Springer (Germany) and Nick Chaperon (Cyprus) for their performance and achievement. We wish them both successful working jumps with real students. To Rene and Manolo, we thank you for your participation and hope to see you again in another course.
