Our time and course at Skydive Spain has come to an end but not without celebrating. Skydive Spain staff member Florin Craciun successfully completed his AFF Instructor training and evaluation and we congratulate him to this achievement. We thank Jonno for his help during the course and the team of Skydive Spain for their – as always – great hospitality. A big applause to Florin and good luck with the upcoming student work!

During our stay in sunny Seville at Skydive Spain, we also conducted a USPA AFF Instructor Course. While the course participants prepared themselves on the practice jumps, we could celebrate a special number: congratulation to Andreas Zwetsch for jumping his jump number 1000. We wish him Happy 1000 and many more!

Another USPA Coach Rating Course was held at Skydive Spain, in sunny Andalucia, during Nov 29-Dec 1, 2011. We had a good time and managed to evaluate three participants of which two successfully completed the course. We congratulate:

In collaboration with PD flight-1, our Instructors Academy organized a 5-days Canopy Course at Greek Freefall Club in Greece. This course was one of the first canopy courses in Greece ever and the demand was great. We were pleased to welcome PD Flight-1 team member Brian Vacher for his essential and advanced courses. The participants were amazed by the knowledge and the skills and each one of them gave a very positive feedback to the course. Another milestone has been reached for GFFC club members on the way to compete with European Standards. We thank Brian for such an amazing course  as well as thank all 25 participants for joining!

Due to the great demand, we will repeat and organize another Canopy Course with Brian during January 20-23, 2012. Registration now open!

During November 8-10, 2011 we were pleased to conduct another USPA Coach Rating Course at the Spanish Dropzone of Skydive Lillo. The weather was grant, the candidates were well prepared and we completed the course easily in 3 days. Congratulations to their new USPA Coach Rating:

While the DZ of Greek Freefall Club (GFFC) near Athens, Greece is developing and growing, the need for tandem instructors arouse. We are pleased that Instructors Academy is a part of their development and we are happy to train their staff members as well.  After a throrough theoretical part as well as 10 tandem jumps, we can congratulate the candidates for their successful completion and present two new USPA/UPT Tandem Instructors:

During our stay at Greek Freefall Club (GFFC) in Greece, we also had the opportunity to do a recurrency tandem training. After a break and no jumping tandems, Alex decided to go for a refresher course and to get current again. After some classroom and ground work, its time to go for his refresher jumps with passenger Billy. Alex did a great job and he is now back on his tandem jumping! Well done, mate!

We are pleased to spend another week at the beautiful DZ of Greek Freefall Club (GFFC) near Athens, Greece and we are mostly pleased to greet two members of the Irish Military. Its not the first time that our school trains with the Irish Military and its always a pleasure to do so.  This time, the two skydivers Alex and Billy booked themselves for the USPA Coach Rating and IAD Instructor Course. We had some great training days with very disciplined and well prepared candidates! It was easy going for them to successfully complete the courses and we like to congratulate them big times!
